NOTE: she is NOT interested in selling Blu-Rays/DVDs at her concerts, contrary to the (presumptuous) subtitles. However, she has no problem with even more of this film appearing on YouTube. The quality is much better on the original HD footage, but this will have to do.
P.S. filmed more of her (and Kate Stables) in Winchester this night, and she has come up with even MORE great songs. I know people who would give their right arm for this footage on high quality media. Appraently she and kate have now got their OWN HD camera and are making a video on St Catherines hill tomorrow. Perhaps they are catching on to the commercial opportunity? This is a great location-I was in Winchester at art college there thirty years ago. Little did I know this would later become the birthplace of a female rock messiah who would not only replace my disbanded/dead/decrepit heroes of 80's post-punk (Bunnymen, Chameleons, Banshees and Joy Division) but actually surpass them! Yes I know I'm talking like a crazed fanboy, truth is I thought I was too old to get excited about anything ever again. But this lady, and her amazing full band remind me of the thrill when I first heard Echo & the Bunnymen on John Peel in the early Eighties!
But much of their stuff on the net paints Rozi as some twee indie folkstress. I intend to remedy this impression. Her second album is going to be the greatest record of all time.
The strange thing is she dosn't act like a superstar at all.
