On August 24, 2011, I stopped by the historic building that housed Portland Wrestling from 1968-1992. The building is now a family youth center for Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. The people there were very nice and let me walk around and take some pictures and this video. While I was in the building, memories came rushing back from everything that when on within these same walls. I hope that you can hear my commentary as the place was very quiet and I had my three year old son with me.
@thewrestlingfan are you serious... what is wrong with them I am trying not to judge but if they have nothing but love and nostalgia for portland wrestling, I don't care how religous they are they will rot in hell for disrespecting a old school fan... their doors should always be open to anyone who want to relive old portland glories... I am going to start some shit with that place over this... just watch.

AWESOME!!! I took a couple buddies there the last time we went to a WWE event at the Rose Garden... I walked inside and asked if I could look around, as soon as they found out I was a wrestling fan, they asked me to leave...

Thanks for posting this. It brought back a lot of memories for me, even though the place really looks different.
For old-time sake, did you challenge any of the church employees to a coal-miner's glove match?
