For the Play button, doesn't work. (Cs5)

I used the text tool to write "Play" then converted it to a button, selected it, pressed F9, wrote the script, did the rest of the tutorial, then when I actually start it, I can't press Play. All it does is highlight, doesn't do anything on mouse release.

@ramprire I don't think that I understand. I suggest this:

-Go inside the button (double-click)

-Create a keyframe for all frames of the button

That means that you have chosen a very thin font and you can't hit it with your mouse.

If that isn't your problem, try explaining it better.

Thank you so much, I have Flash Professional CS5, And It integrates pretty well on the other one, All the others, Are AS3, And I'm more used to AS2. Some reason, You cant use them vice versa.... Well, Thank you very much for the help! Liked and Subbed!

Thanks so much!! This is just a great tutorial!! What i am hoping to do is learn the outline on how these games are built, and translate the code over to objective-c to make an iphone app. Once the app is out, i will definatly give you credit!!
