An updated series of recreations of classic black-and-white test patterns from the 1940's up to the 1960's when color TV exploded. Some patterns unique to local TV stations are intermixed with ones used nationally. The tones heard with each pattern are: 396.8 Hz, 410 Hz, 459.6 Hz, 440 Hz, 700 Hz, 495 Hz, 997 Hz, 406 Hz, 360 Hz, 424 Hz, 1050 Hz, 1250 Hz, 750 Hz, 400 Hz and 1 kHz, all at -12 dB. As always, these patterns are "blank." (This version replaces one test pattern with another, based on research subsequent to prior versions of this set.)

  • @stupidrubbish - Much obliged for the good word. We all try to do our best. ;)

  • I can see the enormous amount of time and effort that has gone into these. Particularly seeing as your recreations, unlike mine, are always technically spot on too, which adds to the work involved. I really enjoyed watching them. Beautifully presented too.
