i think he jsut added a R L on the floor tom or a R K right after every last double kick of the lick to smoothly tie it up.

@drmmr36 But he's doing it more by feel than by counting out every exact note against a 4/4 groove. So either he stretches out the "feel" of the lick to fit in 4/4, or he's actually adding the 2 missing notes without realizing when he does play it as a groove, OR he's just playing it the way it is and at that speed most of us would not notice anyways that there's something off. Nothing wrong with it, it sounds great to me, that's all that matters.

I don't get how you did not win in 2007 either. I just saw that performance and to say I am blown away is an understatement. I like Jerome and Donnie but still would not say they are better drummers than you.
