  • I am currently learning the 108 movement Long form From Micheal Gilman. This form is exactly 2/3rs of that form. In fact, this is about where I am at with the Gilman form. It is similar in movement. Micheal does not get to flowery and keeps it a bot more "martial", as is this form. I lke it.

  • Perfectly done!!! I do like this video. Thanks for posting it. I need your help. I need a video with this form in back view. Anyone knows when can I find it? Many thanks in advance!

  • More information about kicking can be found at Shaolin dot org /taijiquan/application dot html

  • @champ1954

Keep in mind that high kicks are not traditional Shaolin Kungfu. Most high kicks come from Wushu which is more for competitions and exhibitions where the look of the form is more important.

You would hope that 1500 years of past Shaolinquan history and practice would perfect the movements and patterns. =D If you see high kicks in Taijiquan, it is for exhibition purposes only

  • I have a doubt about his hand. Specifically your thumb when you doubt your fist.

If I could say why do so or where it comes from the idea they are grateful.

I practice the long form of the ITCCA that does the same and I'm looking for reasons for this difference with the other fist.

    thanks for the video.

  • Well done. This 88 form is one of the the easier ones to follow and without the hype. I will be practicing this one as I found it fairly easy to follow without trying to exert my kicks to extreme heights. Thank you for posting this video.
