    It's watercolour, for definite. I think they are just Cotman ones. The ink is just Indian ink and a dip pen I'd say. I can't believe how dirty the water is that he's using! I change mine obsessively as I'm afraid of dirtying the picture, his looks perfect though ;-) I also worry about his back bent over the lightbox all the time at his age!

    The man is a legend, love him.
