Being Alive (Remus/Sirius & Remus/Tonks)

This the Hospital Scene at the end of HBP, but with a long flashback. Tonks, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, and McGonagall are all ganging up on Remus to tell him to be with Tonks, only Remus had been in love with Sirius until Sirius died, and didn't want to ever bother with getting in a new relationship again because he was still upset. But then he realizes that he really does feel a connection to Tonks, and decides to be with her.

It doesn't *exactly* match the situation in the song, but this is my absolute FAVORITE song from Company, and it always reminds me of Remus a little. So rather than try to make a bunch of footage of Remus being alone, I put him with Sirius. :)

By the way, I found the picture at the end by doing a Google search. I forget exactly who created it, but it definitely was NOT me. If I figure out who created it I'll give them credit here, as it's a beautiful picture and I really love it.

hey love the Remus/Tonks but i do not like slash @ all. no offense, but i dont quite understand ur portrayal of remus-sirius, as remus was clearly with tonks and perfectly happy w/ her. sirius and remus were just friends.

Well, there's nothing absolute about Remus and Tonks being together until Half-Blood Prince, and I do like them together, but I was just adding in some other things. The way the story is in my video is that Remus and Sirius were together during their school years and a little after Sirius got out of Azkaban, but Sirius sadly died, and Remus was upset and didn't think he could find another love again. But then he realizes how happy he is with Tonks, and they end up together.

Thanks! Yeah, I know, a lot of times you put anything with Sirius/Remus/Tonks, it ends badly (ie. my Mr. Brightside video for them). But in this one, I was trying to show how both of them can benefit Remus.

i love both these pairings^^ i thought Remus was heartbroken when Sirius died, but genuinely fell in love with Tonks, but then, tragedy again! why?!

I love both RL/NT and RL/SB and it saddens me how much those two ships hate each other. I do usually keep them seperate because while this (or the angsty love triangle in your Mr. Brightside video) are completely plausible and even likely, Remus, Sirius, and Tonks are my favorite characters and I can't stand to see one of them die or be rejected. This was lovely though and somehow cheerful despite the fact that it means Sirius is dead.
