I always manage to miss this American Experience whenever they play it on PBS. Anyone know where I can watch it in its entirety?

I am so glad people like you will post these for others to watch,I have heard the name Mary Pickford since I was a small child(I am 27 now) but have just recently "discovered"her via the internet,and she was extraordinary,and that is an understatement.I love watching Mary Pickford,thank you so much for posting this!

It seems to me she's not as well known today as she should be is because it's like there was a "barrier" put up when the talkies came along, and only very, very few of the earlier stars made it through and really succeeded in the talking pictures.
I DO still wish she had continued her career to some extent (like Lillian Gish and Gloria Swanson did), because she could have reached several generations of fans. But I guess all the personal losses she dealt with in a short time took their toll...

Tara, we remember Mary Pickford probably as much as any star from her day. As far as the silent audience goes she's recognized as one of the best. Oh' how lucky we are to see a movie almost 100 years old with no static, anytime we want. She'll have more fans than she would have ever imagined.
