Jack's Sponsored Haircut & Donation

Instead of cutting my hair and tossing it away I decided the best way thing to do is raise awareness about my chosen charity by doing a sponsored event.

I managed to raise £325 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.

My hair [which amounted to roughly 11 inches long] was then donated to Little Princess Trust. The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs to children suffering hair loss due to cancer treatment.

@ivegotabfmv His idea inspired me to donate it. Rob Chappers also did and since doing this a lot of us metulz guys have also done it.

I raised £330 for cancer - you can whine about how I "copied" Matt Heafy but I seriously don't care. I raised money for a fantastic cause and a great organisation.

At least I did something worthwhile ya know?

@zck6505 Well it's a better thing to do than just cutting it and binning it, helps make wigs for people affected by things such as cancer.

This video reminds me of when I had my hair cut. It was down to the middle of my back and I told my parents that I want to cut it and donate it. :] And I just might grow my hair really long and then have it cut and donate it again. :D
