This series was the BEST Youtubeing experience I've ever had. It's not just a documentary, it has art, bromance, small fury animals, a plug for Eharmony and solid weekend work ethics in a obamanation (get it). I salute you sir I I hope that Ken is now "getting some" now that you have transformed him into the man of steel........... with some paint, lacquer, vinegar patina. I know, it sounds "douchey"

Thought I had seen all of your videos, then stumbled across this series, looks fantastic. Looked good after the vinegar wash and would have been tempted to stay with it like that, but it got to be even better, well done!

That is absolutely amazing...........I hadn't seen your metal art before and didn't realize just how far your talents extend. Awesome work.
You have a great hand, I bet your welding looks great too. I'm a weld shop supervisor and it's an old saying that if someone has good handwritting or some kind of art background that they should be a good welder. And I haven't seen it not be true in 25 years. I wish I had a hand like that ...lol. thanks for the vids

@pellyrat1 Actually my son is the great welder---Navy HT2--Me? Im just your average welder, nothing special, thanks for the comments, I love making this metal art, just can't seem to find enough time to make it anymore, life goes fast when all you do is work and sleep. Pete

Very Cool Pete !!
So to the public there isn't much in sales for this type of thing???
You should seriously think about making "one off" pieces for major companies, cities, major events, shopping mall hanging art, museum, libraries, memorials, tombstones(?) etc... the big pockets would pay I think, the average joe thinks too much about saving 50 cents so interest in buying isn't there (not to say they don't like it though).

@knightriderutube Ive given up on trying to make a buck on metal art. I used to get a good penny for it, now it's just scrap iron. The economy has taken it's tole on "IMPLUSE BUYS" if you know what I mean. Thanks for the comments and support. Pete

Pete that is some great work!!
How much does something like this worth?
MrEricdgreat 2 years ago
How much is it worth??? It's worth seeing the smile of the person I make one for, it's worth the satisfaction of doing it and seeing the LOOK on the face of the lucky owner. To me it's just the whole bit of satisfaction and feeling you get from doing somthing like this,, making something from nothing.... As for "MONEY" --- in this economy-- NOT MUCH!! Anyway.. Take it easy and thanks for the comment.. Pete
