@swallin19 i'm going to assume this was produced before DRACULA, in reality DRACULA, was put together in 1930 since it was released by UNIVERSAL, valentines day, 1931. WARNER BROS. did produce 2 two-color films 1932-33..MYSTERY OF THE WAX MUSEUM AND DOCTOR X both starring LIONEL ATWILL.

This is an original two colour Technicolor film from Warners, not colourised. Bela Lugosi appeared in the film, so Scared to Death was not his only colour film. Many 1929/30 films were shot in colour, but the Wall St Crash meant finance for colour films dried up for a while. Few survive in colour, lost when TV only required B/W cheaper copies, the colour versions were junked by the companies or lost due to age.

This is colorized then? Everyone says that Scared to Death was Lugosi's only color film.

@ZhuangziZhou You are as stumped as I am. I don't know why it's in color. ^-^

Thank you so much for uploading this, its incredibly interesting to see Bela in colour in a film other than Scared to Death!! Especially considering this film was made almost 20 years before that one!!
