A 347 Trans Am vs 408 Formula. Dig on all motor, roll on all motor and a roll on nitrous. the 347 is spraying 175 and the 408 sprays a 250

  • @TheWhitePhoenix100 I know what cube an ls1 is... You round up to the next CI after .5... Pushrods don't make a shit on cubic inches, doesn't change anything, its just how long they need to be to reach the lifters. 347 is .05 over piston, I order parts all the time for my Z28, they have never once asked if it was a 347, they might ask if its a stock bottom end, but that's rare unless you're looking to do a mod that may be hard on the lower end.

  • @20psitransam LS1 is a 346 not a 347... 347 is what they usually forge them to, they punch it .05 over and change rods and pistons (sometimes crank but the stock crank will hold a LOT of power anyway.

  • What was wrong with the 408? Because you'd think it would wipe the floor with that 347. however that 347 sounded fucking mean

  • So wait...blowing a head gasket is a normal thing for the 408? Wouldn't you think that something is wrong with your build that you might want to change?
