Rashad Evans talks to MMAWeekly.com about his upcoming fight at UFC on Fox 2 with Phil Davis and a potential bout with old foe Jon Jones.
Evans makes it clear just how well he matches up with Davis in wrestling, going as far as guaranteeing that he'd beat him in a straight up wrestling match.

Rashad gets hate because of his beef with rampage. I don't know the guy but from what I've seen, he seems like a stand up guy.

He said that at the end because when Rashad entered the ring after Jon Jones fight with Rampage Jon Jones said to Joe Rogan ''Hes ruined my special night twice now, and the time will come''. So he was making fun of Jon Jones

Rashad was not impressive against Davis. Basically Rashad struggled against a green fighter coming off an injury layoff. Rashad could not finish Davis and Davis stand up is subpar. Davis telegraphed every shot he took
And we can talk about reach advantage all day but the thing is Davis is not Jones and does not strike like Jones and that's a big difference. Jones is on another level and Rashad is gonna get mashed out!!!

@MrBillLumberg Definitely man. I was really impressed by his defense, catching Davis' kicks on occasion, and fighting Davis on the outside even though Davis has the reach advantage!

@WeAreCreativeInc1 dude that H bomb has failed hendo many times before. and good luck reaching jons face with those short arms and honestly he doesnt use good technique. i think avoiding an H bomb to the face would be too easy for jones. all he has is that one punch...thats it. I think rashad being on like a 4 fight winning streak should just go ahead and get the title shot. nobody else has a winning streak like that. plus nobody has good enough wrestling to challenge jones cept maybe him.
