As a bonus to the two part rivet video here is a video showing how to attach jeans buttons, otherwise known as tack buttons. I tell you which buttons work, where to get them, and how to successfully install them.

  • how do you romove a jean button? one of my buttons fell off cuz the hole is riped alitle,is it possible to pop it off and attach it again?

  • Thanks Brian

  • Thank you. I sent my husband's pants off to the cleaners/alterations and they replaced the last jean button from a failed alteration button replacement. Now I know why they both failed and came off. The button they both used had no ridges. It basically looked like a tack that had a squared off tip with tiny scrapes on the sides. Thanks to you, I now know what to buy on Ebay and how to put it on myself!

  • THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUU!

  • I mustache you a question, but ill shave it for later...

  • do you know of a liquid heat resistant adhesive to use on the recessed buttons that hold plastic gems or inlays. i removed plastic jewels from my wife's jeans and would like to fill buttons with colored adhesive instead.

  • Thank uuuuuuu sooooooo mustache i mean ...... much 0.0

  • Thanks a load <3

  • Very helpful! Thanks,

  • Thank you for that information - very very helpful - bought some Lane Bryant $60 jeans and the damn things are falling apart six months later :| (Used to I could buy them and they would last a good two or three years!)
