  • I think the problem is there a some dive masters out there that just don't teach respect for the sea and the life that lives in them. I've swam with hundreds if not thousands of turtles and have never touched a single one. Sometimes I feel bad for getting too close when I can see they are nervous. The 1 simple rule all visitors should keep in mind is LOOK DON'T TOUCH.

  • I saw a few of these on a College biology snorkling trip to the Bahamas. Our Prof told us to swim over and check out a sea turtle, but not to touch it or you could be fined $10,000...and if we did she would fail us on the spot. Some rough traffic rules and hefty fines in the ocean Ill tell ya.
