IS THIS MESHUGGAH'S SON ?
-
I think this is Thomas Haakes children all finally growing up.
Back in the early 90's he did quite a bit of sleeping around. NOw with rise of djent, there are all these craazzzzyyyy mad drummers. It's nuts.

@thekillingfieldmusic 'djent' is basically an onomatopoeia, it's like calling folk music 'twang'. I'd call it math metal or technical death metal (so does Tomas Haake!) but once you start whinging about genres (like me here for example) you realise there's better things you can be doing with your time.

@jokeroflife2006 "Just about anyone, anywhere" must be deaf in that case. Lol.

@TheChronicCynic Ask just about anyone, anywhere, if they give a fuck.

What is unique about this? Nothing..

@TrumMarc a year later, if you haven't found it message me.

The Curious Case of Meshuggah Button...haha

@Natephobia Djent is very subjective. I think that other styles of music have been defined by their sound, and with such definition djent has earned its place among styles. Look at funk, rock, dance, punk, each with their own specific sounds to define them. Why should djent be any different?
-
i disagree.
-
@thekillingfieldmusic Djent describes the sound of the guitar. That is all.
-
djent = style of metal, usally involving tech timing, or polyrhythm's,
WHERE can I get this album?!

@TrumMarc go online, their stuff is pretty hard to get in North America, they've never toured here, so that's the reason why it's hard
