what type of adapter should I use for this? and how to connect them to the adapter?

@sleekkid you can buy pretty much any "universal" adaptor as long as it can switch to 3 volts mode and supports at least 1 amp (most LEDs are 3 volts). Also, to connect your leds to the adaptor, just strip both tips of the wires and solder the positives together and same for negatives. Make sure your adaptor has the correct settings and plug!! ...
