i think yr right, touring is a fab idea, and you wouldn't have to tour solo (which is a bit scary), you could bring friends, like bass (acoustic?), drums, cello, whatever you want, and then get down to it. the u.s. would work quite nicely. small venues with good acoustics. new england for sure, new york, etc., would be great, and also do the west coast. you'll get known, plus you'll have new material in spades.
