@oranekayla If they are relaxed, then searching videos geared towards relaxed hair would be beneficial and worth your time. Hair relaxer is poison! There was even a movie/documentary about it called, "Good Hair"... by Chris Rock. Perm is a deadly chemical.

I stopped perming my hair 3 yrs ago...And shaved my head balled! Seriously...I started over, and have been HAPPIER since. My hair grows steadily now, its naturally soft...

..I get temptations to relax, but then I remember the HELL I went thru with the retouching, and new growth, and learning how to care for two (2) types of hair..smdh..not worth it to me.

I had really coarse hair as a child and the pull 'n' tug to my hair caused me great distress because it noughted up easily back then. I got it cornrowed or thread tied every week in different styles (I lived in Africa in during my formative years) but, use to dread these weekly visits to the hairdresser.I got it permed at age 13. I've gone natural several times after that but go back to the chemical perm because my hair is just so unmanageable. I hope to keep it nautal this time that I'm wiser

@rellepsu1 i~did~the~same~thing~i~choppee­d~all~my~hair~off~like~2yrs~ag­o~and~it~grew~back~so~soft~and­~long.~i~don't~even~have~perm~­it~at~all,~all~i~have~to~do~is­~wash~it~and~flat~iron~it~and~­it's~good.~i'm~so~loving~my~ha­ir~now!

@BlessedCurlyGurlz Love your vids, your baby's hair is wow, very thick! I too have lots of shrinkage as my hair is wavy and curly, but I keep lots of conditioner in my hair and it works wonders...got to get some shea butter and see how that works. very beautiful!!!
