Tyler Clary currently holds the American Record in the 400 yard individual medley. He also holds the NCAA Division I record in the 200 yard backstroke and the 400 yard individual medley. At the 2009 World Championships, Clary placed second to Lochte in the 400 meter IM final with a time of 4:07.31. Clary also placed fifth in the 200 meter butterfly with a time of 1:54.45. For his performance at Worlds, Clary won breakout performer of the year award at the 2009 Golden Goggles Awards. (This is a Gold Medal Media production, as seen on swimnetwork.)
This is first time that I hear Tyler speak...I've said this many times, but truly GMM is awesome in a way we learn more about our swimmers at a personal level...!
