With SUSE Studio, your own Linux distro is just a few clicks away!

I use SUSE Studio to customize openSUSE 11.2.

Started with minimal X (IceWM), I just added ntop, Wireshark, and Firefox.

Then I built .vmdk format, download, extract, and configure it in VirtualBox.

Note: I change the network setting from NAT to bridge, so that this ntop VM could get a bit more network traffic (at least the Host OS and itself - the Guest OS)

Viola! You have a Network Traffic Monitoring System up and running in no time!

I encourage you to register your own account on http://susestudio.com/

Or, drop me a note if you would like to download this customized openSUSE 11.2 Linux.

I could be reached at (my youtube id) AT gmail dot com, please include "SUSE Studio" in the subject!
