  • The footage was unearthed by Damian Jones and myself after interviewing ex lead singer Frank Smith for our new book on the band. At 2.16 the guy there is their first manager Dave Jay. The footage is filmed in Sarisbury, Hants and later at the Kiosk Club in Castleford, Yorkshire. We also unearthed all the unreleased stuff of the Fleur De Lys as well as the unreleased stuff for Rare Mod 2 that Acid Jazz are putting out

  • I like it, great track. Never heard of the band before a few weeks ago. Great 60s pop or is that freakbeat?!

  • Hi, I have a acetate of the guys but its a charles brown / respect cover ( never heard it anywhere else other than the acetate ) could even be ruperts people as it was found in a collection of ruperts people / fleur.

  • Nice...never knew 'The" became "Les".....

  • My God! I look about seventeen in this film. Oh! I was!!

  • Mate - that's amazing footage, absolutely fantastic. I now challenge you to track down my long lost red Raleigh Chopper, nicked from Maidenhead train station in 1977. With you, anything's possible!

  • After a trip to Quebec, where I found a rare record of Les Fleur de Lys, I became attached to that band's sound, it's a sort of mad nostalgia I can't rid off, so can you imagine my feelings at the moment this video came thru my way?

    Thanks Smiler
