This was an overdub of a real orchestra as a joke, right?

Isn't this the Portsmouth Sinfonia

Nope, that's funny, even if it was me. That is called laughing at yourself.

Quel cata !

Why so negative? it's well known by any tromboneplayer, that this solo is the most difficult solo in the trombone literature, so please try to understand the pressure on this guy! you should try it yourself, it's NOT funny!

Vienna Philharmonic, Lorin Maazel, Madrid 1998. There was speculation that musicians unhappy with Maazel had intentionally performed badly. The sounds of the oboe, a principal instrument of the piece, went astray. The audience booed. But when the horn and trombone followed suit, the audience shouted "off, off!" as director Lorin Maazel wrapped up the performance, the daily El Pais newspaper reported yesterday.

@ALBIBISBIS Hi, just for the record. I hope that my reply didn't come acrss as me saying that a PO member "would" do something like that. I was just wondering if something happened? If his nervous took over? Whatever it was you just have to feel for the person imo any ways.
I think from 0:29, the second trombonist played in his stead....
