Hi all, thanks to all of you who viewed the trailer for my independent British horror film 'Beautiful.' It's been wonderful to receive your comments and interest. In this video I'll give you an update on filming at the end of December in the West Midlands. I also reflect on my (admittedly short) time on YouTube, including some of the frustrations! Hope you enjoy and please keep connected.

  • @slashville Hmm. Am I picking up an air of Vorhees?

  • Can't believe I only just found this video. I haven't been on youtube much! Anyhow I'm glad to see honest vlogs like this which is pretty hard to get from youtube. People like Lisanova would never get this personal in their vlogs! I also think it's cool that you realised the down side to prefectionism and how it can actually be a bit damaging. In regards to exterior lighting, it is tricky. There are portable lights called PAG lights that can be charged beforehand but only last for 40 mins..

  • @slashville Good to see you back with us! I will check out the PAG lights, though ,truthfully, the idea of spending more money on equipment right now is heartbreaking. I'm really glad you enjoyed the Vlog- be great to hear what's happening with your film ideas.

  • really great vid...looking forward to more!

  • @criticnic Appreciate the compliment and the subscription Nic, thank you. Keep up the good work with your reviews!

  • @VeederFilms I may be shooting a fan film in the summer for a 2013 release. There's a clue

  • I got so frustrated with the weather in this country that I rarely will ever film in winter again!
