  • looks like a spot in "Better off Ted" ! lol

  • How can you possibly not trust these very enlightened, successful and smart people? They only want to impose their superior beliefs on and decide whats best for you, whether you like it or not....

  • @LLGoldstein I guess that is a pretty good line now that you mention it. It's rare when I can articulate that well. Use it with reckless abandon as often or as little as you want.

  • @AlbaGoBragh "obfuscation is the main tool of tyrants." Oh, I like that and it now goes on my sig line in discussion groups. Thank you so much, you made my day. :)

  • @AlbaGoBragh There is. . .on the Moon or Mars. They should just build a couple large ships, launch and keep their destination secret. Oh, if only it were possible.

  • @leesprint You comment was AWESOME!!!

I fear that this is exactly what Hank Reardon was up against. There is just too much of Atlas Shrugged that is actually happening. To bad there is no Galt's Gulch.

  • I worry when people put an adjective on a noun that has worked so well in the past. Like "Compassionate Conservatism" which turned out to be just another version of Progressivism.

When you add something to capitalism then that worries me much more because I see absolutely nothing wrong with Free Market Economics. If this is Capitalism with the Government involved in anyway, count me out.

Too bad this vid was so vague on it's definition. But then obfuscation is the main tool of tyrants.

  • So then, you're for letting these wonderful capitalists run their businesses the way they want to, not at the point of a fascist government thugs gun, right?

wtfe. You can't fool all the people all the time...

  • Sig Heil!

  • This reminds me of a passage from Atlas Shrugged:

"What do you want?" Rearden asked for the third time.

"It is the social aspect that I am asking you to consider, Mr. Rearden", the man said softly. "I urge you to take note of the age we are living in."

It turned out that Readen's competitors wanted protection from Reardon, and their were using the govenment to get it.

To paraphrase Adam Smith, any meeting of businessmen is likely a plot against their competitors and the consumer.
