Such nonsense. President Obama has made mistakes and he has failed to do many things we were hoping he would do.

But to call Obama "a complete liberal" is laughable! If only he was a "complete liberal". If then, we'd be making progress and the average person would be much, much better off.

It's because Obama has been so moderate/conservative with his policies and appointments that he's been a disappointment.

Only a delusional right-winger would call Obama a "liberal". Is that you?

  • funny, all the predictions about unemployment rising and hyperinflation and banking system is still not getting better at least not as good as he said

  • The exuberance of having the first African-American president in the Whitehouse is why most African-Americans voted for Obama, no matter the close parallels between Obama and Bush vis a vis foreign military policy, etc. The fact is is that race does matter, and Obama had this to his advantage, not only among so-called naive minority voters, but also among PC democrats. Obama was raised by white grandparents for many years, and lived in Indonesia; but he is one of us, so said the black voter.

  • @espada9 1). I apologize, as it would have been your father's jeans then. 2). Thank you for the informative history lesson; i was unaware that there were indeed, no Nazis in Berlin, Hungary, or, what I assume you meant, Czechoslovakia, during the 1940s. 3). I too, found the bailouts repugnant, however, that was actually one of the last things Bush did before he left office (Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008). 4). Reading isn't just a liberal pastime, so swing by a library sometime.

  • @stutwostep: 1) Zinn never fought the Nazis he bombed women and children in Berlin, Hungary and Checkloslovokia.

    2) I was born in 1964 so again your math is poor, typical of a communist.

    3) Your hero Obama has stolen the future of young amaericans and handed it over to his masters Goldman-Sachs and JP Morgan/Chase.

    4) You are a weak lazy parasite.

  • @espada9 This man was fighting Nazis when you were still swimming around in your grandfather's jeans. Furthermore, the era of corporate autocracy, slave labor and being able to buy off the government with a handshake full of bills will too pass, leaving you and your buddy Beck cowering under a bunker alone.

  • im trying to send a message to obama so they can be prepared by irak because of osama bin laden usa killed him but there going to be war and is going to take place here in the us so watch out obama just be prepared

  • Glad this revisionist historian and American hating communist died, I hope that phony pseudo intellectual Gnome Chumpsky dies soon. Only mindless drones follow these frauds. The era of socialism, entitlement and free lunches are over you weak lemmings, it’s going to be funny watching you tools starve after the dollar collapses because you have no real skills and failed to prepare.

  • @medliberty I don't think Zinn liked Nader. He stated at one point that Nader was wasting his time running for president. I think Zinn got swept up, like we all did, in Obama and voted/supported him because he thought that Obama would actually change things.

  • @medliberty Chomsky's response to your question (why not endorsing Nader instead of Obama):

    - /watch?v=kQ1r0Ak50hE

    - /watch?v=8GxUOObCCNs

As for Ron Paul, I imagine Zinn and Chomsky did not think of him as a "better alternative" to Obama.

  • Howard zinn my only regret is that i never got to meet you, thank you for your will to investigate, and shame on our government leaders, and media reporters you are all money grabbing sack-less sell outs who sell us all out everytime you get into power,

people speak out and loud dont let you and your family be lied to.
