That's strange. Because you just have to walk towards the edge as close as possible, then turn around so the character is facing away from the edge, then just press down on the D-pad.
It's been many years since I played the game last time, but I'm pretty sure that's how it's done. Are you sure your joypad is working as it should? :)

@TheCrazyStudent I agree, i love the voice actors on prince of persia for the mega cd. Do you know how to climb down the ledges, maybe theres a certain way or distance you have to be away from the ledge. If you do know can you share your knowledge with me. I know the manual says "push down on the d - pad" but i can't get it to work and just keep falling to my death.

I have this game on the mega cd. I have been playing it a little bit and initially found the controls quite hard. I am getting around this and like the game. I am still having trouble climbing down the ledges instead of just falling to my doom. The manual simply says stand next to the ledge and push douwn on the d-pad. Its just not working. My control pads are fine. Does anyone know how to do this?

Why is everyone complaining about the voice actors? I think they did a great job. Especially Jaffa... I just love the evil laugh he's making over and over in this intro.

"Dooon't touch meee!"
"HAAaa.. HA, HA, HA-HA HAaaa!"
Just gotta love it. :)

Well, who do YOU want to voice the characters? TARA STRONG and GREY DELISLE? Those two actors suck!
