Is that a Sam Adams beer you're drinking? Kinda looks like one of em.

Psycho was remade with Vince Vaughn. It was pointless to remake that movie. Especially with an actor that I usually see as a comedic character.

@Jawooosh Thanks for that answer.

@cpcomedy314 So you're saying you didn't see young Jason jump out of the water at the end right?

Psycho, Overrated??? Its a great movie, however I don't think its a horror movie, its a thriller with horror elements. You could compare it to Hitchcocks Frenzy and that certainly ain't a horror.

@dwccherry I wouldn't call it a Horror Movie either. Infact I would like to take a baseball bat to the face of anyone that would call it a Horror. Yet still I look at and here the population still say one of the greatest horror movies of all time was Psycho, therefore I call it Overrated to High Hell. Along with my opinions that I really dont see anything particularly fasinating about that film or really any of Hitchcocks work.

@Jawooosh While I think Hitchcock is widely overblown by people as being the greatest director ever (just because some supposed experts of film claim it and most people accept what they're told by them), to deny his creativeness is absurd. But hell thats your opinion.
On the subject of morons claiming Psycho to be a horror, if you do another Q/A (I know you've uploaded 2 new videos), can I ask what you think of the labelling of horror in movies and what classes a movie as horror?
Thanks.

@dwccherry my definition of the Horror Genre in a nutshell is "Made with the intention to frighten its audience while using suspernatural aspects" I remember saying something like this in one of these Q and A videos. The After Dark Horrorfest series made a trailer a few years ago and the definition they came up with is the best: Horror: A Genre of Motion Picture Intended to Thrill Viewers by Provoking Fear or Revulsion through the Depiction of Grotesque, Violent, or Supernatural Events.

i think that if you say the cabinet of dr. caligari is the first best horror movie ever,than the first horror movie ever is the first best. you are very smart coming out with these great reasons to hate or dislike something and im not too sure if thats the first horror movie ever but, it was made in 1920 so ill believe that.

@prplmonkeysrule
The very first horror movie ever made is really whatever the first movie ever made that had any intension of frightening its viewers. In that sense George Melies may have very well made the first horror movie and it was around 30 years before Caligari
