That's punishment?! You're out of your mind! When I came home to find that he had eaten my Prada boots, I said nothing to him and he acted the same way as he watched me throw them in the trash. I discovered the gimp when trying to get him to climb stairs. He's never once been yelled at. Guilt, plain and simple. Bug is extremely intelligent and a one of a kind Boston Terrier because of how I raised/trained him.

God, the dog is obviously extremely loved and well taken care of, people complaining about "cruelty" need to open their eyes to that fact thousands of animals are being abused and dumped in shelters everyday and do something about THAT. Speaking of which, if you eat meat and are on vids like this complaining about a loving dog owner being "cruel" you are an absolute hypocrite.

hahaha my three bostons do this too they know when they have done something bad lol its the cutest thing in the world! they are spoiled rotten cause they know they will get hugs and kisses afterwards lol. little brats, but i love em to death.

re: punishment. You have to catch them in act to punish effectively. If you scold them later, even if you're holding the offending item in your hand, all they know is that you're mad at them--they don't know why. I'm glad this guy didn't keep up the pretense of being angry. A minute's anxiety--however cute--is enough.

We are well educated in dog behavior (read bio). This is just a joke/playing around to show the WORLD Bug's limp when he's in trouble.
Thanks for the advice though! You might want to read a little about the video before you go two-centing your opinion.
