The "Smartest Horse in the Movies" (with Roy riding, of course) jumps over a car while Anne Terry and Mary Treen look on. From the 1944 film, "HANDS ACROSS THE BORDER".

  • Great clip. How about putting up the complete musical ending of Hands Across the Border and also the ending of Song of Nevada. Great musicals and good entertaining stories.

  • Sure! I have the finale for this film, but, sadly, we don't have "Song of Nevada". As soon as we get a copy, though, I will upload it (Our personal favorite from "Nevada" is Mary Lee's Wigwam Song!).

  • This stunt was done at the Alabama Hills at Lone Pine, Ca. Gene Autry would later repeat the stunt with Champion in his film, "Trail to San Antoine."

  • Mary Treen I my Great Grandmother If any was wondering :)

  • "He's just naturally a gentleman." Trigger pushes him into the girl's arms. Heehee!
