This is my Honda CBR250R, I recently bought it as my first bike. From all the reviews and forums I got information about it I can honestly say they were all spot on, 100% right. This is the perfect entry level bike, it is easy to control but still packs a punch, those worried about power should not be because this in my opinion it has plenty of it; I have yet to be beaten of the line by any car and I don't even try.
This bike looks great, it is a head turner as a result of its styling which looks really good. I was worried about the size at first but then actually seeing the bike and sitting on it put my mind at ease, months ago when I went into the store and sat on it I just knew it was for me; in case you wonder I am about 184cms in height. I also have had a passenger on the back and they felt it was comfortable with enough room for themselves, in regards to power with another on the bike I did not feel a drop in it at all; this thing handles it's buisness.
As a smaller bike it is lighter, don't let this put you off because I use this on the motorway and it does the job, I do feel uneasy though as you REALLY feel the wind; but the bike just powers through, maybe it's because I am new to riding and have been driving all this time the difference feels greater than it actually is. Speed wise it easily hits 70mph and then some, I found myself tweaking the throttle just to see and I was shocked at how much more was coming out of this machine, but I always drive/ride at the speed limit so it's all good regardless. :P
Speaking of size I was in the city the other day and the traffic as anyone who lives in London knows gets pretty heavy, but I was able to throw this bike around and weave through the traffic without any problems; a bigger bike I feel would have struggled in this area, just goes to show how practical this bike is as it works in so many different settings - I haven't tried dirt riding yet but something tells me this bike wouldn't fair to well there, lol, you can't win them all.
Price wise I think this is priced well, if you can't manage the full payment then you will get some good installment deals so shop around and don't get put off by the sum; as new as it you can find some second hand for about 3000.
I can see myself holding onto this bike for a few years before upgrading, even then I will still keep hold of it just because it is good with fuel, as of yet I have not measured accurately the mpg but from what I have put in recently I have gone a lot further than I would have in my car which is only a 1.1l engine; so there I know I will be saving some money.
This bike is cheap on insurance as well so if you are young and car insurance is raping your wallet then maybe getting a bike is the way to go.
All in all I love this bike, as I write this I wish I were out there riding hitting up the motorway feeling the air sweep against me, alas there is always tomorrow; but yeah I haven't ridden many bikes but from what I have ridden this one tops them all, 10/10 in my eyes.

I want this bike so badly. Right now I have a honda twinstar from 1982.. Shitty breaks, worn tires, shifts into neutral randomly from 4th gear.

@Ben0dom One day you'll be on your brand new litre bike reminiscing about that Twinstar... All in good time though man, at least you have a bike to build your experience on, that is something you cannot buy.

@GTRMclaren722 Thanks! Yeah you should definitely get this as your first bike you'll love it, the Ninja is nice too but the crappy looking dash spoils it for me.
