  • your drums sound sick man but i would suggest you either re-mic or re-tune your bass drum cause it sounds super fluffy.... don't you want boomy or punchy?

  • @steveyweveh,

Thank you for your comment :) You have absolutely right. I will do a remix on this one and a couple of other videos:) Thanx, Morten

  • fucking good this man!! nice technique

  • @Suedkampen

Thank you!:) New videos will be recorded this autumn:) Hope you will stay tuned and give me your opinion. Have a great day:)) Morten

  • 0:59 the soft grooves with the funky fills in between are just phenomenal! awesome drumming. kick may may have been more punchy for me.. but i think the soft fat sound blended in with the kit real well

  • @sonofnothing Thank you! Glad that you liked the soft grooves and fills. I take my hat of for mr. Steve Gadd. He is my inspiration along with other great drummers:)

    Thanx from Norway:)

  • your bass drum sounds like someone rubbing their hand over a mic.

  • @VoLcOmSk8R19

Well, it`s birch in both sets, but I think it has to do with the shell thicknes, the bearing edge and maybe the quality of the birch. I suggest how ever that you check out Yamaha`s web site and read more about it there:) Good luck and all the best. Morten

  • @jts024 Hi!. Cad mics on the toms, BD and OH. Snare: SM57. Good luck:)
