Del Wood was a very nice lady! She was a close friend of the family and back when I was real young, Del and my grandmother would take me to Opryland and let me run wild....lol She also took the time to come to my elementary school with my uncle and perform a little show for the kids! I still have an album of hers she gave me back when I was kid too! Good memories! :-)

She sure was! And a character! I spent a lot of time at her house and she was at her best when she was working with Roy, Jr for several years. Both Roys were the best!
