  • The spitting works!! 3 pills in less than 5 minutes...and no more scratches, first time ever! Thank you so much Dr Allan!! This is brilliant!!

  • awesome demo, thanks so much, you were very helpful, i always gave my cats pill in my lap, now from counter it seems so much easier, the spit method worked to , it surprised him and he swallowed it right away, gross to some people ,but it works! thanks so much doc.

  • I skipped the leash and the spitting, but the grasp is awesome. I do have him up on a counter so I can easily reach him. I find that simply blowing lightly on his nose makes him swallow. Good luck!

  • don't restrain a cat, not nice, grab him by the skull and spit in his mouth instead.

  • I'm having trouble getting a good chunkgy out of my throat to spit in my cats mouth, help!

  • @micherrera He is just old fashioned but he was a bit abrupt with the other one. He gave me some great ideas though give him that much.Like dont hunt them down and stress them out.droolingg in his mouth - i dont know, but in a desperate situation a person would do it.

  • I like this video for it's tips but I'm not a fan of the noose-style leash used to drag the cat out from under the bed. Cats have delicate necks and it's easy to injure them. Not to mention, cats are not as simple-minded as dogs. A cat will not sense the noose tightening and say "okay I give! I give!", it'll start pulling backwards and clawing at the leash until it strangles itself. Get a harness that has a chest-support instead for this.

  • Thank you for your tips. They are very helpful and they don't require expensive equipment or special skills. I always feel bad when I have to struggle with the cat in order to give him/her a treatment. Not anymore. Thank you, doctor. :)

  • He didn't toss the other cat on the floor, he just nudged it toward the edge of the counter so it jumped down itself, he even called it "sweetie, he just didn't want it in the way. The tabby jumped the smae distance himself at the end. If you think jumping down off a counter is abusive to a cat you must have never owned one.

  • AND THIS GUY IS A VET!!?? HE'S AN IDIOT, AND HE WAS TALKING ABOUT RESPECT TO THE CATS, AND GRABS THE OTHER ONE AND TOSSES IT TO THE FLOOR
