Dean Soltero Standard guitar demo 1, Little Wing and Wind Cries Mary (bits and pieces)

Just demoing this guitar a bit, alternating between pickups and their single-coil and humbucker modes.

Mainly Little Wing, and the few bits of Wind Cries Mary that I learned from Justin Sandercoes' lesson the other day.

This was done using POD Farms' "BAD" preset.

there is onething i need to know about theguitar

is that guitar chambered ? and how much dose it weigh ?

@vickysvids hi, the body is mahogany with a maple top, so it isn't chambered, and the neck is mahogany too. Apparently the fretboard is rosewood, but it's very dark and it looks like ebony to me, which is nice. Unfortunately I sold it a few months ago so I can't weigh it for you, but it's definitely not as heavy as a Les Paul, it's lighter by a few lbs at least I'd say. If your willing to sit and read through reviews on ultimate-guitar or musiciansfriend you might find out the exact weight.

@kye903 thanks a lot for the quick reply cause i was reading a lot of reviews and the weight was around 7-8 lbs and only one comment said that it was light cause it was chambered just wanted to make sure and just for my curiosity what guitar do you own now ??

@vickysvids The only guitar I have at the minute is a crappy squier strat that I've had lying around for a few years. I put USA 'highway-one' pickups in it, but it's still nothing special. I'm thinking about buying my first telecaster (mexican) 'cos I played one in a shop the other day and was surprised how much I liked it, I've avoided them for years, thought they were a bit ugly.

I also played a Dean Deceiver, that is REALLY light, but I thought the neck was terrible. Shame.

@vickysvids No flaws at all. I liked the guitar so much I recorded 2 of my demo albums with it, it's very versatile. It's just that I fall out with guitar playing every now and then and sell whatever guitar I have, then wish I hadn't. It's a vicious circle :)

Loved your tone and your playing, i was looking to buy this guitar, but i have to import it, so i was having doubts, since i have the habit of playing a guitar before i buy it. After reading reviews i was thinking of buying it, but this video was the last push, i'm ordering it ASAP. Btw, nice playing!
