July 2nd is the 25th Anniversary of our tragedy in Tampa. I hope that WTVT and WFLA do them justice with a recap. Five people died in that store, they should be remembered everyday.

I understand the grief and the desire for retribution. But, the victims own sister testified everyone knew he was crazy. I guess what I want to say here is, can you really get the relief from your grief by the death of someone who is crazy? Does a crazy person put a value on his own life or live with the fear of his own demise?

If you are familiar with the case, during the trial 3 different pyschiatrists testified that Ferry was faking his illness. They interviewed him after the arrest and his comments were: "Do you think I'm competent to stand trial, then he told the doctor I don't think I'm competent to stand trial". They stated that this showed full sanity even after the firebombing. .

That is not for you or anyone else to decide. It should be left up to the family of the victims, period. Until you have been in that exact same situation you have no right to even suggest otherwise. That is the problem with a lot of Americans, they all think they know what's best for everyone else.

I am Leigh Anne's Brother and you are RIGHT, I have the full right to say that Ferry should die for his crimes. He knew right from wrong that night and he deserves to die for his acts. I've been there, I saw it that night myself at the supermarket as well as my family.

Execute Ferry.  Blame liberal Governor Lawton Chiles for putting liberals on the FL Supreme Court who commuted Ferry's sentence. Nice going liberals.

CNN it seems the tv reporter, etc think, in this report, that Mr. Ferry is insane. Whether or not he was mentally ill is debatable but he knew what he was doing. The system (I know this almost firsthand) drags its feet on hospitalizing the truly mentally ill. In Georgia they don't hold any but the worst. Those who are maggots like Ferry (cognizant of what they do) get hospitalized or sit in jail.
