balcony review

Our aft stateroom on Freedom of the Seas. Deck 10, room 1402. It was nice to have the balcony where our family could hang out...we toasted with champagne when leaving port!

I just want to say that that room and balcony are huge. I've cruised with carnival many times and I've only been on the larger/newer ships. We have had many balconies but one in the aft. I'm goin on a cruise in July and can anyone tell me if the room size is due to the ship size.

It is the class of stateroom....superior stateroom, basically 1 level down from a junior suite.

We've been on other ships also, and it seems that the size of the room really depends on the ship. When making your reservations and room decisions, look at the square footage to compare the different sizes.

The sailing sea sounded like a water fall, whihc was quiet relaxing.

@applesweeter It WAS so relaxing! We really enjoy taking our wine out on the balcony, and just mellowing out, especially after a day of excursions.

@SimlishSammy Royal Caribbean and Freedom of the Seas was our first balcony experience.

Before we took cruises just for the destination...but FOS made us really appreciate the "getting there" aspect.

I can tell you this, my parents and grandparents were on the same cruise with us, had interior staterooms, but spent more time in our room because of the balcony!

i had the same room when i went on that cruise the room was amazing and so was the view ps the free ice cream was great to :) ohhh u guys had the back of the ship we had near the front and i think we had a smaller balconey

that is the same cruse that i want on. but i had a wndow room. not a baclny room.
