My 2nd HPDE and 2nd time at Thunderhill Park. What a fun way to spend your day. Had a great time out there driving alongside some pretty fast cars and drivers. These were just a few laps out of the video from the day.

The Black Car in front of me in the 1st lap was an E90 BMW M3. The White Car at the end of the 1st lap was an older Mustang. The Silver Car in the 2nd and 3rd laps was a 996 Porsche 911 Carrera S. Fast and awesome cars!

Its not a perfect run, as I made a few mistakes. The most significant was when I had trouble getting into gear on this video's 3rd lap. I am entering turn 11 which leads into one of the longest straights on this course. You can see the Porsche 911 just turn into a tiny dot at the end of the straight near turn 14 as my entry speed was too slow to maintain distance. Doh!

Great video! Looked at a MS3 today and you make a good sales pitch - though if you drove the M3, you'd have a faster time than what you are are doing with you MS3. Good driving.

@smallfgb Thank you! The MS3 is a great car for what it is, but it is no M3. I'd love to take one of those out for a spin.

you need to mod your car man...an intake doesn't do anything without a exhaust system, its breathing better but without a highflowing exhaust system the turbo can't spool quick enough to even have the intake help that much....I have a good amount of mods and my turbo spools as soon as I push the throttle and pulls hard the whole way, if you got more mods and a tune you wouldn't have problems with any of those cars on the track that were in front of you because our mazdaspeeds r awesome trackcars
