Remember kids, DNA doesn't dictate gender. Basic biology means that without female reproductive parts, or male ones, you are gender neutral.

@SamusAranRox in metroid 3 the space pirate notes say she took all our phazon and other stuff about taking over. and metroid prime meaning she was the first omega metroid was last. also prime had given birth to other metroids we you go fight her and her final form looks feminine. metroid prime is female. the only male that had armor was samus child sax i say child because it came from her dna and x-parasite she was tentacle raped

Dark Samus isn't a girl. It's more like a Phazon version of Samus that has no gender.
