Chapter eight - Smart but Gross

Justin's point of view.

Madi and Ryan came walking up to us, and I smiled at Madi who seemed a lot happier from earlier.
"Hey baby," I said pulling her into a side hug.
"Hi," She said shyly, sipping away at her coffee from Starbucks.
"So we figured out our next class and who's all in it. You, Ryan, Nana, Hannah, Travis and I have the next class together. And everyone else has a class together."
"Why do you call her Nana? It's Nina. Gosh Jay you're so weird," She shook her head, ready to walk away when I pulled her back into my embrace, leaning in giving her a kiss.
"Ew, get a room!" Hannah said while everyone else agreed.
Madi and I giggled as I took her empty coffee cup, throwing it at Hannah.
And for sure, I pissed her off...

"Hannah??" I sang as she and Nana sat in front of me. She's ignored me ever since... well, ya'know?
"Jay, I think you should leave her alone," Madi said wrapping her arm around mine. I looked at her and smiled. Just then, Travis walked in and Ryan behind him.
Madi stiffened as they both came to the back where we were. Travis was about to sit next to her when she said Ryan. They both stopped and we all looked at her. She swallowed, and sat up straight.
"I kind of want Ryan to sit next to me," she said to Travis, whose jaw tightened. He obviously faked a smile and sat in front of us next to Hannah and Nana.
Ryan furrowed his eyebrows at her sliding into the chair beside her. She looked at me, and kissed my cheek making me smile. I focused to the front of the room and watched the teacher do her job throughout out the rest of class.

I kissed Justin on his cheek, throwing him off. He smiled me and focused to the front.
I grabbed a piece of paper and started to write notes with Ryan again.

I looked at him and made a smacking noise with my lips. He cocked an eyebrow at me and I wrote back.
- ur thinking "wat was tht all about?" -
- Well Rosy Berry, wat WAS tht all about? -
- im not gonna tell u since u lik to let notes fall out ur back pocket for others to see! -
- haha, not this time. How about u tell me l8r? Lik u said last time? -
- hmm... maybe -
He read the last part, nodded at me and shoved it in his shoe. Gross. Smart, but gross.

Hehe. Madi makes me giggle. Aha, I'm so weird. Lam! Do you know what that means? Laugh at me. Hehe I just made it up. Wink wink. I swear, someone put something in my shake this morning...
