An extract from the Satsang filmed at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre New Plymouth, New Zealand. http://www.sivanandayoga.co.nz The centre has early morning Satsang three times a week and also on Saturday evenings. It is free to come along. This chant is called Baansuri and is one of many Krishna Bhajans used in addition to the daily chants for Satsang. Many people find meditation techniques and chanting a useful addition to their yoga practice. It is not tied to any religion, it relates to states and stages of consciousness. @Jackthemeat LOL I am a Cyber techno pagan leaning towards Evolutionary Panentheism . I had never done a Satsung until Ram set the yoga centre up in town here. Now that I have a better understanding of developmental psychology and growth. I get the whys and the benefits that it can provide. Head over to my blog and check out the blog I wrote about this.
