If you know anything about cats, you know they won't do anything they don't want to. Don't cry for this cat. It will live a long, comfortable life like a king and get lots of attention. In the wild, life expectancy is much shorter.

i can get why some might find this sick and indeed some people exploit aanimals for entertainment horribly. Training like this does build up trust and could be classified as enrichment which is needed to stop the animals getting bored. I do prefer wildlife in the wild, but i do understand the needs for zoos as education for younger generations and research to help them survive in the wild.

This is kind of sick to me. Bad enough we have to coop them up to save their species, but now we make them earn their "rent" by training them to do tricks? They are humiliated enough by being caged. Leave them alone.

Agreed. <3
The question is would the leopard rather be stuck in a cage or out doing something, she might be enjoying that jumping around... just because you would find it humiliating doesn't mean she will. I say thumbs up to them for giving a leopard something to occupy herself for a while, she is not being forced into it and she gets a reward for it.
