  • beautiful. Would you do something from final fantasy 7,or FF9?

  • @sirvaan Thanks:) I might redo some from vii or ix. I really like the soundtracks pre-playstation though when his melodies were so simple and raw. But ix has some really nice melodies.

  • @aycomusic I actually really agree with that. Many of Nobuo's most recognizable melodies are from the pre-Playstation Final Fantasies. I think that it's amazing he got out from under Square's thumb and is now producing in his own studio. Have you seen Distant Worlds live? Because fully orchestrated Final Fantasy music is epic in its own right.

  • @Xanatrix I've had the privilege to see Distant Worlds a couple of years ago. It just came to Vancouver a few weeks ago but I was too busy with work to go:( It blew me away when I saw it, but the music was arranged differently from most of the original pieces. It was amazing but I think I would have preferred the arrangements to stay the same as the originals. Some were pretty close though. But I have to say 'One Winged Angel' live was amazing. It came out on the triple encore:)

  • A beautiful rendition. The flute is really well done.

  • @gamalielshapira Thanks! Flute's one of my fav. instruments, been playing it for many years. Hoping to get a bass flute soon.

  • @skyMcWeeds

    yes he is =)

because the soundtrack Epitaph is a slower version of his theme (I belive it was his theme...can't say for sure)

  • I remember I downloaded the midi soundtrack version of FF6 and I always listened to this song, especially when writing papers. I hadn't even played the game back then, but I always loved the music! FFVI and FFX are my favorite soundtracks to listen to!

  • FF6 was in my opinion the game with a soundtrack that laid the path for the musical scores of all RPG's after it...but none compare....maybe ff9 &10 but no others compare

  • Damn dude. This is epic. This game had my favorite music of the series. It's always been a bummer to me that there aren't more orchestra performances of songs from VI. I'm glad to see you taking matters into your own hands.

  • Hewwo! I've taken a look at your other videos and have decided to leave a comment. Your rendition of these songs are really beautiful. Awesome job! It feels nice listening to "real versions" of these songs rather than the MIDI ones haha. And i really enjoy your style. Thank you very very much for sharing these. <3
