Chris I justed bought a 65 vw shifter is very sloppy what do I need to look for? I hear that a coupling and wear out but where?Any suggestions>

@loveanianimeme You need to check your shifter plate under the housing, see if it is even there. If it is, bolt it all on loosely, then shift to 2nd or first, then tighten down. try that.
