@nish3690 A tethered jailbreak means you cannot boot (turn on the ipod) without connecting it to a computer. Untethered means the ipod jailbreak is independent of computer, and it can boot all by its lonesome self.

FUCK redsnow. It may have worked for me, but on my brother it COMPLETELY failed. His iPod touch want into recovery mode, and now all his stuff is gone. BEWARE! Use at your own risk!
