@blastmastertv It's been 4 months since you commented but if it helps; bands involved in doom metal include Black Sabbath, Candlemass and Anathema among others. Grindcore includes Napalm Death, early Carcass and Bolt Thrower among others.

@blastmastertv doom metal is a slow type subgenre of metal, kinda depressing, ,melancholic, and i love it. Grindcore is a subgenre of Punk, to be accurate of crust punk, and it's some times confused with death metal or brutal death metal, due to both have extreme fast tempos and guttural vocals. I hope it helps

Good stuff. The only Metals that ever mattered to me are Death Metal, Black Metal and Trash. That's it. Well, Speed Metal's nice altho i got more into the death n black. The rest is just nonsense.
The early 90's was insane. Glad i was there to experience some very good music. Too bad i was so young, altho i was old enuff to choose between the dark and the darker and always made the right choice. When in doubt, follow the drums!

Grindcore, Death metal, who gives a fuck? I like being able to identify different types of metal, but all these sub-categories of metal are making things more confusing not less.
