You ask for acceptance from others but you couldn't accept yourself as who you were. Gender should be a biological term that doesn't isolate behaviors to one sex. It upsets me that you think that mimicking female actions and genitalia makes you a real woman. I''m glad you are happier but you are reinforcing that "female" and "male" is defined by make up clothes and quilting etc. You are limiting yourself by defining a woman or man. Drop the pronoun and be yourself.

@missqueenbean420 "sex" is the biological term, but gender is what you identify yourself as. people can't control if they are transgender, so they can't just "accept" who they were born as, per se. one way to understand how it feels to be trans is imagine one day you wake up and you have had a full on sex change. being called he instead of she, now you have to dress a certain way, have your hair short and whole long list of other things just to be accepted by society.

i want you to think of it like this. if you died in the woods and enough time had gone by to decay your flesh and clothes and they found your skeletal remains... would they claim you were a woman or a man? bone marrow would contain DNA having an XY gene and your public arch would be less than 90 degrees. You can modify yourself all you want but you are hiding empirical fact. You can never and never will be a real woman. Always an immitation.

It's sad that what your saying is true because society is so limiting with their views but we have to start somewhere and if my comment is being rated highly its because others want people to be themselves too and that's a positive sign showing that society might change someday. I want people to be happy without mutilation. Just like I wish women didn't need to get breast implants I don't want people paying to cut up their bodies to match societal views. Peace
