It wasn't that he posted a vid on youtube that makes him wise. It's the obvious thought that goes into Dan's opinion pieces. That's what they are opinions, not wisdom, but they're agreeable opinions. They are opinions that if left outside of the extreme very few rational people could refute. As a Canadian looking at the States, I'd say, though, you don't have monarchy: you have something more like a tyranny or a fascist state. Technically speaking, a monarch DOES have to obey his own laws, but a tyrant doesn't. A true king or queen IS ACCOUNTABLE to something, but a tyrant is not, Thus, I'd say Bush and co. are a tyranny.

I LOVE British Parliament. Sometimes I watch them in CSPAN because it's just SO entertaining. And I don't mean that in a derogatory way. I think it's awesome.
