My video about the relationship between Anne Elliot and Frederick Wentworth, the heroes of Jane Austen's 'Persuasion'. The clips are from the BBC version of 1995 - the BEST one in my opinion. The song is 'Best I ever had' by State of Shock.

Best version of "Persuasion" I have ever seen. Amanda Root was eloquence itself, and Ciaran Hinds as the handsome and repressed Wentworth, priceless. This is romance with the touch of a hand and a glance across a room. Elegantly adapted, filmed and performed.
And the way Regency novels/romances should still be written. I have nothing against sex in novels, but it simply was not done by people of quality in this period until *after* marriage.
